for neonatal and infant hearing screening.
Even a new born child can be assessed for
hearing by a special test called Oto Acoustic
Emissions (OAE). Children who do not pass
this test are later subjected to more elaborate
tests of hearing. OAE test is non-invasive,
easy to perform and takes only a few minutes.
