MERF has a well-equipped clinical laboratory with facilities for most haematological and biochemical investigations. There is also an advanced microbiological laboratory with facilities for microbiological & mycological work.

The laboratory has the following equipments for its daily use:

	Laminar flow system
	A fully computerized ECG and an X-ray unit augment the investigation facilities
